The story of Prime Minister Matti Vanhanen made the headlines even here in Israel. According to Reuters,
"Prime Minister Matti Vanhanen, dubbed Finland's sexiest man, broke
up by text message with the girlfriend he had met on the Internet, she said in a magazine interview.
"Matti dumped me in a text message, where he said 'that's it'," Susan Kuronen told the magazine Me Naiset (Us Women) in an interview published on Friday."

Maybe in Finland, the land of Nokia and mobile phones, there's a different interpersonal mobile etiquette; To me it seems very rude and inappropriate... Maybe it's a new trend where politician prove to be tech savvy?!

First of all, I don't know why the girlfriend got so upset. I mean - he's the prime minister of Finland, and he must have important things to do like...um...well...aaa...I'm just sure he has plenty on his mind.
So, the wonderful world of tele-communication helped him convey his message ever so succinctly, what's wrong with that?
Anyway, what's really important is what other sms messages this guy is sending. I mean, what does his "sent items" folder look like? Does he have messages like "Raise the taxes"? or maybe "Declare war"?
That's one folder I'd love to see.

I think he has a few of "What's for dinner, mom...?" and a few "I'm busy - call you back"...
